Welcome to Emmele’s Sewing Room, a little home business located in the Texas hill country. 

 

We are a mom and three daughters hoping to provide you with another way to save your family money.  We enjoy sewing and working together.   We started making the cloth pads to save our own family money.  With a household of five girls and only one boy, we knew we would be spending lots of money on menstrual products over the years.  This is just one of the ways we are working toward spending our money more and more wisely.  It’s a joy to be frugal!  You have more to give and less financial stresses.

 

We currently have several different cloth menstrual pads available for purchase.  Most of the fabrics we have in stock are for young girls and teens; however, we do have a few for ladies as well.

 

Our pads are made with 100% cotton flannel, 100% cotton batting, and PUL fabric, which is waterproof.   The snaps are poly-resin, and will last a very long time.  All fabric is preshrunk.  We send care instructions with your first purchase.  

 

Most pads, if well-taken care of, will last three to seven years, depending on frequency of use.  You can use them as menstrual pads or light bladder control protection, for instance, during pregnancy.

 

Shipping is $2.00 for the first pad, then .50 extra for every additional two pads you order.  Mixing and matching is encouraged!  It’s more fun to have a variety of different designs.
